ASOS is selling a pair of see-through trousers for £40 (Rs 3,640) which has been described as “Flounce London sheer organza combat trousers”.
Luxury and designer brands are known around the world for their style, presentation, and appeal. However, they are also popular for over the top designs and exorbitant price tags.
In February, Italian luxury brand Gucci were slammed by thousands of users on social media for charging almost Rs 60,000 ($840) for a pair of dirty sneakers that the brand described as “vintage” and “old schools”. The 70s inspired sneakers, which were made in Italy and are part of the Cruise 2019 collection, raised a lot of eyebrows on social media.
Now, another fashion brand has been trolled savagely for their pair of trousers that look absurd, to say the least.
ASOS is selling a pair of see-through trousers for £40 (Rs 3,640) which have been described as “Flounce London sheer organza combat trousers”.
“Whatever the occasion, nail your going-out ’fit with Flounce London’s collection of party pieces,” reads the full description on the ASOS website.
After ASOS included the trouser in their website for sale, the Instagram page Asbos_Sos ridiculed the design with a savage caption.
“When you did four squats this morning and the world must know,” Asbos_Sos wrote.
After Asbos_Sos, thousands of netizens trolled the brand for their ridiculous design.
One user wrote, “That’s tomorrow’s outfit sorted for work.”
“When you’ve shaved your legs and feel the need to show them off but it’s too cold for a skirt,” wrote another.
